Well, lucky you. On this page, we have created not one, but two Lost Ark tier lists for PvE and for PvP. This way, you get to check out the best classes in Lost Ark in every type of content for this current meta.
In the world of Lost Ark, there are a number of different classes that you can play. Some are more powerful than others, but each one has its own strengths and weaknesses. This Lost Ark tier list will help you figure out which class is best for you!
Here’s the thing, Lost Ark classes are all pretty powerful and great, honestly none of them are so bad that you can’t do some great damage or healing and have fun.
You can still get to enjoy the game with your friends and explore Arkesia while clearing the Kazeros scum that infests the world.
But the truth is that as with every game, there are some characters and classes that stand out among the others for being the best in the game, for a multitude of reasons.
Some Lost Ark classes are incredibly powerful yet easy to use, and that puts them at the top of every Lost Ark tier list.

Lost Ark Tier List Rankings Explained
- Tier S Lost Ark Classes – These are the best Lost Ark classes in the game right now. If you’re using one of these in PvE you will have an easy time clearing all the content that you desire, and if you’re using them in PvP well, you will have much higher chances of winning your battles even if you’re a complete beginner.
- Tier A Lost Ark Classes – These are also great Lost Ark characters that you can use to do great things in PvE or PvP. Your team will be very happy to see you bring one of these to the team. Bonus points if you choose a healer.
- Tier B Lost Ark Classes – Good Lost Ark classes, these are pretty average though and they require a team built around them to support them even more so that they can become better.
- Tier C Lost Ark Classes – These are the classes that you would probably want to avoid, especially if you’re a beginner Lost Ark player. There are better options out there that do their job just as good if not better and without having so many weaknesses.
So, with that said and done, let’s take a look at our Lost Ark tier lists.

Lost Ark Tier List – Best Classes for PvE
Let’s first take a look at the best classes in Lost Ark for PvE. We have ranked them from the best (S-tier) to the weakest (C-tier) accordingly:

Still, as we said before, pretty much any class will perform decently in clearing content, but some will have a much easier time.
In our case, the S-tier classes not only have an easier time but they also provide unique abilities that are much needed by your allies in your team.
And with every meta change, as Lost Ark gets new updates and buffs or nerfs certain classes, these rankings will definitely change. But one thing is for sure, there will always be those S-tier classes that are needed in every Lost Ark party when clearing harder content.

Surprised by the choices? We’re not. We think these classes have an easy time in PvP against other players because they provide so much utility and firepower. They also have great versatility and are not that difficult to master.

How We Created This Tier List?
We have our own methodology that we apply to every tier list that we create. So naturally, we have gone over the same steps and requirements when we created our Lost Ark Tier List for PvE and PvP.
We began by playing the game and testing out all classes in different types of content (both PvE and PvP).
We wanted to learn from other players’ experiences, so we looked at some of the Lost Ark leaderboards to see what class they are using to pwn.
We also consulted the Lost Ark subreddit and its Discord server to get more feedback from members of the community.
But keep in mind that Lost Ark contains a myriad of classes, each with its own special skills and attributes—so there’s always something new to learn about the game.
Not only that, but personal preference and play style also comes into question when choosing the right class to play with.

What is Lost Ark?
Lost Ark is a free-to-play MMORPG from Smilegate, the developer of CrossFire. The game takes place in the world of Arkesia which is filled with evil forces trying to occupy the land.
A variety of classes are available to play in Lost Ark. Each class has its own unique skills and abilities, as well as its own strengths and weaknesses.
You can choose between playing as a Warrior, Martial Artist, Gunner, Mage, and Assassin when you start the game. There are also other sub-classes available later on in the game for each respective class that you have chosen in the beginning.
We focused mostly on the subclasses when we created this Lost Ark tier list.
The game can be a bit grindy though, which is expected from a Korean MMORPG. But for most players, this is something that they look forward to, as it means that they get to spend more time playing the game.
